Ms. Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Mr. Johannes Hahn EU Commissioner Responsible for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations and Mr. Christos Stylianides, EU Commissioner Responsible for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, accompanied by a delegation, will pay a visit to Turkey from 8 to 9 December 2014.

High Representative Mogherini and EU Commissioners Hahn and Stylianides will visit our country for the first time since they assumed their new positions in the EU on 1 November 2014.

The joint visit of these three high level EU officials demonstrates the importance the new EU leadership attaches to Turkey.

The EU delegation will be accepted by President Erdoğan and will meet Prime Minister Davutoğlu, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu and Minister for EU Affairs as well as high level officials.

Bilateral relations with the EU as well as current international and regional developments are planned to be discussed during the meetings.
